France vs Iraq Betting Lines - 2026 World Cup Soccer Odds

Soccer World Cup odds show France entering as a heavy favorite in this Group I matchup, with tournament debutants Iraq placed as a massive underdog in a game projected to feature plenty of offensive potential.

Handicap game: France (-2.5) / Iraq (+2.5)
This line indicates that oddsmakers expect a heavily lopsided affair. France must win the match by four or more goals to cover the spread. Conversely, Iraq receives a 3.5-goal advantage before kickoff, meaning they cover if they win, draw, or lose by three goals or fewer.

Iraq moneyline (+2500)
The +2500 line reflects Iraq’s status as a deep underdog. Coming off a 4-1 defeat to Norway in their opening match, a successful $100 wager on an historic Iraqi upset would return $2600 in profit.

Draw moneyline (+1000)
A draw at +1000 signals that a level scoreline after 90 minutes plus stoppage time is considered highly unlikely, offering a steep payout for bettors backing a resilient defensive performance from Iraq.

Total goals over/under 3.5
With France projected as a 3.5-goal favorite, the game’s total goal line leans toward a highly active scoreline. Oddsmakers anticipate France’s potent frontline will look to push the pace early to comfortably secure their positioning at the top of Group I.
