2025 Preakness Stakes Odds: Date, Location, Time, TV channels, and Betting Favorite

The 150th running of the Preakness Stakes is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, with a post time of 6:50 p.m. ET at the storied Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

You can watch the race on NBC and Peacock.

With Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty out, which horses are worth betting on at the 2025 Preakness?

We will not get to cheer on a Triple Crown winner in 2025, with the Derby winner Sovereignty, in hopes of preparing for a Belmont Stakes winner.

Sovereignty, whose odds closed at 7-1, won the 151st Kentucky Derby by 1 1/2 lengths earlier this month. Sovereignty won $3.1 million with the first-place finish at Churchill Downs.

  • Who will win Preakness 2025?

Debry runner-up Journalism (-110) is the Preakness Stakes Morning Line betting favorite in a nine-runner field.

A win for the horse could force a Belmont Stakes showdown with Sovereignty.
