New York Yankees at Detroit Tigers Odds

Will Tarik Skubal regain his top form when the Tigers play host to the New York Yankees in Detroit on Wednesday? Skrubal is back in the rotation and has a 3-3 record overall with a 3.02 ERA. He has given up 18 earned runs in nine starts.

Twelve of those runs allowed have come in the last four starts. He reached for two home runs in his most recent effort, when he went 5.2 innings in a win over the Chicago White Sox.

The Yankees have managed to keep a lead in the AL East despite faltering recently. They had split their last 10 heading into Tuesday. MLB odds lean to the Tigers at -138 here because Ryan Weathers is no bargain on the mound for the Yankees. Who are +125. He’s 2-5 with a 4.13 ERA. Anything close to vintage Skubal and the Yankees are in trouble.

  • Pick: Tigers -138
