The Blue Jays have had it rough through the first quarter of the season. They have not been able to recover from a tough World Series loss and are playing sub-.500 baseball. Now, they go into the Bronx to face the Yankees, who would like nothing better than to sweep them to further sink Toronto in the AL East.
On Tuesday, Dylan Cease goes against Aaron Judge and the Yankee bats. He will face Will Warren. Cease has been one of the bright spots for Toronto at 3-1 with a 2.41 ERA. He has fanned 75 52.1 innings. That is astounding. Cease has been good for seven innings in each of his last three starts.
Warren is 5-1 with a 3.42 ERA. He has 59 strikeouts in 47.1 innings. MLB lines BetUS will be fascinating because it is such a good pitching matchup. Look for the batters to be waving at pitches futilely. This could be a great game to play, strikeout props.
