MLB Awards Odds for 2026

The Major League Baseball regular season is rounding third and heading for home, which is always a good time to find value in the league’s year-end honors. BetUS has MLB awards odds on everything from MVP, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year, and Manager of the Year across the American and National Leagues.

2026 MLB Awards Futures Odds

The LA Dodgers are precisely where many believed they would be in September, at the top of the NL West and poised to defend their crown for a third straight World Series title. However, despite their record-breaking spending, Big Blue does not have the best record in baseball, as that distinction currently belongs to the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Atlanta Braves are currently in command of the NL East, with the Phillies and Cubs solidly ensconced as wild card teams while a host of others are chasing the third wild card entry.

In the junior circuit, the Tampa Bay Rays currently lead their division and all others in the American League with the Yankees looming only a few games back. The third-place team in the AL East, the Boston Red Sox, strung together a remarkable winning streak that has landed them in the thick of the wild card race, currently with a better record than the AL Central-leading White Sox and the AL West leaders, the Houston Astros.

Several other teams are also chasing one of the three wild card spots in the American League, which makes this a September to remember as they battle down the stretch, vying for a postseason date in October. BetUS constantly updates all of its baseball World Series odds as the season and postseason commence.

MVP Races

As for individual honors, it appears as though it is a two-horse race in the National League between LA’s Shohei Ohtani and the Cubs’ young left fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong, according to the MLB MVP odds at BetUS. Ohtani, a 4x MVP, is a decided underdog to 24-year-old Crow-Armstrong, but there is still plenty of time for those MLB odds to change.

The race for the AL MVP appears to be a runaway for Houston’s lefty slugger Yordan Alvarez.

The 29-year-old is currently leading the league in batting average and is near the top in home runs and RBI. However, it isn’t over until the awards are announced, and Alvarez has company in the NL MVP hunt, including Junior Caminero, Pete Alonso, Bobby Witt Jr., Dillon Dingler, and Ben Rice. Let’s not forget that new names could enter the chat as the season winds to a close.

Cy Young Races

Milwaukee’s Jacob Misiorowski has made a tremendous jump since his rookie campaign last year and is now atop the board in ERA and strikeouts. Therefore, the 24-year-old is currently the odds-on favorite to take home the hardware as the newest NL MVP.

Yet, with a full month left in the season, it is impossible to ignore veteran Chris Sale, a 10x All-Star and former NL Cy Young Award winner himself, as well as Cristopher Sanchez, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Chase Burns.

In the American League, the Yankees’ burgeoning star, Cam Schlittler, a seventh-round pick in 2022, has set the world on fire this season, currently among the leaders in ERA and strikeouts. However, he has company in the Blue Jays’ Dylan Cease, who has experienced a career renaissance in his first year in Toronto, while Sonny Gray, Drew Rasmussen, Parker Messick, and Gavin Williams are also receiving consideration in BetUS’s AL Cy Young odds.

Rookie of the Year Races

Sal Stewart has made history this year, his first full season in the big leagues, and has become a critical member of the Cincinnati Reds. The 22-year-old infielder became the franchise’s all-time leading RBI rookie and is the only first-year player in Reds’ history to smash at least 30 home runs and deliver 100 RBI.

Stewart is understandably a substantial favorite, but he has company. The Mets’ young gun, Nolan McLean, is also making a case for himself as a formidable right-handed hurler, while the Mets’ first-round selection in 2024, outfielder Carson Benge, is also in contention, as is the Cardinals’ second baseman JJ Wetherholt.

The American League also boasts considerable young talent, with Detroit’s rookie infielder Kevin McGonigle leading the hit parade. In his first season as a member of the Tigers, the 5’9” shortstop has flashed power and consistency at the plate, leading to an All-Star appearance this past July.

Yet, the Guardians’ young hurler Parker Messick is also turning heads as the crafty southpaw has emerged as a force on the mound in his first full season in the bigs. The White Sox first baseman Munetaka Murakami, along with the Red Sox pitcher Payton Tolle and the Blue Jays’ Japanese import third baseman Kazuma Okamoto, are also receiving consideration.

BetUS has all the updated MLB ROY odds, and there could be more young faces on the way.

Manager of the Year Races

In the senior circuit, Atlanta’s Walt Weiss is getting his flowers from MLB insiders and media members as this season’s master tactician in the National League. Weiss had spent the previous five seasons as a bench coach for the Braves before being promoted to the big chair in November of last year.

Weiss has resurrected the Braves from a fourth-place finisher in 2025 to a division leader this year. The turnaround has been stunning, and Weiss even entered the fray of a bench-clearing brawl in Anaheim earlier this season and tackled the Angels’ 6’4” DH, Jorge Soler, after he charged the mound where Atlanta’s pitcher Reynaldo López was waiting.

Among some of the other NL managers in contention for the award are Milwaukee’s Pat Murphy, Philadelphia’s Don Mattingly, and San Diego’s Craig Stammen.

As for the American League, the White Sox skipper Will Venable is poised to receive the award, but he has company in the form of the Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy, Tampa Bay’s 2x AL Manager of the Year Kevin Cash, and the Yankees’ longtime manager Aaron Boone.

BetUS has daily MLB odds, in addition to end-of-year awards, throughout the season and into the playoffs. Make sure to check in early and often, as the lines can, and will, change.
