Los Angeles Dodgers vs Philadelphia Phillies Odds

The Dodgers are done playing their series in the Bronx with the Yankees. They head down the New Jersey Turnpike to play the Philadelphia Phillies in a series that starts on Monday. This could be a set that previews a meeting in the NL playoffs.

Both teams are loaded in their lineups. Are they a bit vulnerable on the mound? Sure. But when you have the kind of bats these teams have, the pitchers can be hit some. Philly is chasing the Braves in the NL East after a slow start.

The Dodgers have run away with the NL West. This could be a series where teams look to make a statement for down the road. MLB odds have Philly at -133 and the Dodgers at +121. Let’s go with the home team as LA could be gassed after playing a doubleheader on Sunday in the Bronx.

  • Pick: Phillies -133
