The suddenly sizzling Padres head to Cleveland for an interleague series. After struggling to do much of anything right for most of the season, San Diego is 15-4 in its last 19. The Padres are in good position in the wild-card race, battling a host of other teams. Cleveland, meanwhile, has dropped to fourth place in the AL Central. Disappointing.
On Friday, Michael King goes for the road team against Gavin Williams, who is 11-6 with a 3.55 ERA. Keep an eye on MLB odds BetUS here because San Diego could be a good play. The Padres actually are positive in run differential while Cleveland is not.
