With all the struggles the Yankees have had recently, they have to be glad the Pirates won’t throw Paul Skenes against them in this series at the Stadium.
The big righty went Sunday against the Guardians, another team in the AL East playoff race. The Pirates are playing better than they have in recent years, not folding, but are still far behind the Brewers in the NL Central. This won’t be a pushover for the Yankees.
Keep an eye on the runs total and the pitching matchups here because there can be nice MLB odds to be had on a Pirates team that actually can hold its own on the road.
