St. John’s vs Duke Betting Analysis

Rick Pitino against the Blue Devils. Time stands still in college basketball. This time, there will be no Christian Laettner for Duke.
On Friday, college basketball lines have the Red Storm as 7½-point underdogs with the total at 142. Big number. Duke scraped by in its first game and pounded TCU to get here. Cameron Boozer is the College Play of the Year. Can St. John’s stop him, or at least contain him?

The Red Storm are here because of an NCAA tourney first. Dylan Darling’s buzzer-beater to oust Kansas made him the first player to score his lone basket in a game to make it one that decided the outcome.

Kansas was a flawed team all season. However, the point spread here is too much. Are people focusing on UConn’s blowout of St. John’s in Storrs as to what could happen in a big game? The Red Storm run may end, but not without a huge tussle.

Pick: St. John’s plus 7½ points, under 142
