MLB World Series Specials

MLB World Series Specials can refer to many props at the BetUS Sportsbook. As of this writing, there are four options to choose from with MLB lines for the 2023 season.

In a nutshell, these are futures that allow you to predict the winner of the World Series without picking a specific team.

World Series Specials Betting Options and MLB Odds

The options available are whether the winning team is a first-time World Series Champion, which division the winning team hails from, and if the team is from the American League or National League.

One more option allows you to predict which state the winning team is from. For example, if you choose New York, you will win if the New York Yankees or New York Mets win.

California cashes with a win by the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, Oakland Athletics, and San Diego Padres.

MLB odds for World Series Specials work the same way as other futures do. They tend to have more profitable odds because they are tougher to cash than daily MLB props.

How to Bet on MLB World Series Specials

There is no accepted strategy for how to be on MLB World Series specials, but we can make some suggestions that will help. Each of the four props requires its own specific strategy.

The first-time World Series winner is the easiest to break down and requires the least amount of work to predict. Six teams have yet to win a World Series, so you are betting on six teams and not just one if you want to bet “Yes”.

Potential Dark Horse Bets and Profit Strategies for MLB Teams

The teams are the Colorado Rockies, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, and Texas Rangers.

While the Padres and Mariners are tempting dark horse best, we believe they are still a season or two away from cashing MLB bets with a World Series win.

The best way to profit from the latter three props is to pick a team to win and see where they fit in the MLB odds.

If you think the Yankees will win, then a bet on the AL East, AL, and New York are the route you should take. If you believe the Dodgers will win, put your moneyline on the NL West, NL, and California.
