Purdue vs Texas Betting Analysis

Another game with a Big Ten team against one from the Lone Star State. Hard to say a team from the SEC is a Cinderella, but remember, Texas had to win a First Four game to get into the actual bracket.

The Longhorns then took out BYU, which was missing one of its best players due to an in-season injury, and Gonzaga, usually a tough out.

The Longhorns have a balanced attack and can get key points from a few players. Purdue was ranked as high as No. 1 in the regular season. Inconsistency cost the Boilermakers a No. 1 seed, and they are second in the West.

The March Madness lines on Thursday have Texas as an 8-point underdog with the total at 149. When a team gets hot in the NCAA tournament, it has to be feared. This is way too many points to give a Texas team that is on a roll.

Texas plus 8 points, +280 moneyline
