Didn’t think we would see the day when Reds former phenom Hunter Greene would have a 21.60 ERA, but that is where he is at after a terrible start in his return from injury. And now he faces a Cubs team that is back to playing strong baseball.
Shota Imanaga of Chicago is no bargain, either at 5-7 with a 4.28 ERA. Greene should have better days as he works himself into form. Imanaga won’t. If you bet on the MLB, Chicago is -109 with Cincinnati at -101. Let’s take a flier that Greene improves on his initial outing.
