US Open Tennis Odds and Betting Lines 2025

Jannik Sinner (-105), Carlos Alcaraz (+145), and Novak Djokovic (+800) headline the last Grand Slam of the tennis season — the 2025 US Open

  • Date: August 24 – September 7
  • Venue: Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York, NY, USA

The 2025 US Open Tennis brings the world’s top players to New York. With Novak Djokovic looking to defend his title, while Sinner and Alcaraz aim to take the crown.

At BetUS Sportsbook and Casino, you’ll find the latest US Open tennis odds across all markets—from futures bets to match-by-match odds and exciting live betting once play begins.

How to Wager on the US Open?

Betting on the US Open offers different formats. One can start by playing US Open futures, which offer the best odds to win US Open tennis if someone is willing to make a play in advance of the tournament. With the Aussie, French, and Wimbledon over, there are definitely past performances to be viewed when making decisions on US Open tennis betting odds.

On the men’s side, US Open odds at the time of this writing have Wimbledon champion Jannik Sinner at even-money and will be the No. 1 seed in ATP odds. The person he vanquished on the grass courts in the final, Carlos Alcaraz, sits at +185.

When it comes to tennis US Open odds, they are far and away the top choices. Novak Djokovic appears to be on the downside of his career when it comes to menacing the top two. He sits at +800 with everyone else a long shot, pardon the tennis pun.

Betting on the US Open Matches

There will be US Open tennis betting odds on every match. Interested in wagering, and bettors can take different approaches. One can bet on who will win the match. That would be a moneyline bet where there will be tennis odds on each match with one player as the favorite and the other the underdog.

If the bettor isn’t sure of who will win, they have other options. For instance, there is a wager on games won.

Will player A beat player B by more than, say, 3.5 games over the course of the match? How about if one believes the match will be a quick one – or a marathon? In that case, choose the total number of games that will be played over the course of the duel.

Remember, when betting on men’s matches, they are best-of-five sets, and the women’s matches are best-of-three sets.

There will be other markets to provide a taste of US Open tennis betting. They can provide more of instant gratification when it comes to a result. This would fall under the category of tennis prop bets.

How do props work? Well, one could choose to play in the first person to serve an ace in a match.

There could be a prop bet on who will be the first player to be broken. Think someone has a massive serve and will pound the ball past his opponent? Then check to see if there are props on over/under aces.

There are any number of ways to wager on US Open tennis. This is one sport where it pays to understand the past performances of players, especially on different surfaces.

The US Open is played on hard courts. That would be different from Wimbledon (grass) and French (clay).

Men’s US Open History

Looking at the history of the US Open, there were numerous champs who won multiple times when the event took place at Forest Hills. However, this exercise will look at the Open era, which includes professional players.

One would have made nice money on US Open tennis odds if they played Jimmy Connors, Pete Sampras, and Roger Federer. Each of those three players won the event five times. Granted, betting on US Open tennis has become more prevalent in the time of Federer. John McEnroe, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic each have won four times.

Djoker is still trying for his fifth title and his 25th overall major. He comes with US Open tennis odds that make him the third choice in men’s singles in 2025. However, the gap between Sinner and Alcaraz seems to grow by the tournament. No one can beat Father Time and the toll these events take on players and their bodies.

Night Time Isn’t Always the Right Time

One elite player who never won a US Open was Bjorn Borg. Try as he might, the Swede never succeeded in the events. One of the beliefs that seemed to come true was Borg’s inability to win in the night. Yes, that is one of the unique pieces to this event in the Big Apple. There are day and night sessions.

And one of the most remarkable parts of the US Open tennis bets is that if you make one on the evening card, there could be a serious lack of sleep. Every year, there is a night or two or three when the first match goes the distance of three or five sets, and the closing match goes the same. Throw in the occasional weather delay, and don’t be surprised if tennis at the US Open is played until the early morning hours. Talk about drama. The crowds stay put as they are enthralled by the tension built while tennis is served throughout long evenings. Good thing the subway never stops in NYC.

Tennis US Open betting is arguably the peak of wagering on the sport. Given the venue and atmosphere, plus the options people have when betting on the final major of the season, it is a Grand Slam to deposit funds in your BetUS Sportsbook & Casino account and ace some US Open tennis betting odds plays.
