New York Yankees at Tampa Bay Rays Odds

The slumping Yankees head to Florida to face the Tampa Bay Rays in a series that pits the top teams in the AL East. Cam Schlittler will go against Griffin Jax. MLB odds have the Rays at -115 and the Yankees at +105.

Jax is good for five or six innings, and he goes against one of the Yankees’ top pitchers. The fact that the Rays are favored tells you all you need to know about how bad the Yankees have been playing.

Schlitter’s last two starts were Yankee losses, but he was victimized by poor play against the Red Sox on June 25 when all four runs were unearned. It feels like the Yankees have to snap out of this at some point. Will Monday be the day?

  • Pick: Yankees +105
