Odds Format

Things are about to heat up in the tennis world, with the French Open starting in late May, followed by Wimbledon just over a month later. Those who bet on tennis don’t have to wait until the tournament starts to make their betting choices. Check out the tennis odds for different options.

There’s more focus on the matches at Grand Slams like the French Open and Wimbledon. Those are the ones making the most tennis news.

We’ll take a look at the different ways to proceed in tennis betting. There are more options than just picking a player to win a tournament or looking at the tennis odds for individual matches.

Betting on Tennis Futures Odds

A Good Time to Wager

One of the four Grand Slam tournaments in 2025 is already in the books. Jannik Sinner topped Alexander Zverev in straight sets to win the men’s singles title at the Australian Open. Many making tennis predictions saw that coming.

American Madison Keys took out No. 2 seed Iga Swiatek, winning the decisive third set in a tiebreaker, and also needed to win a challenging third set against No. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka to win her first Australian Open women’s singles title.

Those who went with the hard-hitting Keys to win the tournament in the Australian Open odds were happy campers.

The tennis futures odds were adjusted after the Australian Open wrapped up. Betting on how many Grand Slam singles titles a player will win is just one of the betting options.

Those who think Sabalenka will win the final three Grand Slam women’s singles titles can jump on the +4000 odds. It might be a smarter bet to take the top-ranked player on the WTA tour at +120 to come away with no Grand Slam titles. The +110 odds for her to win one major and +500 to celebrate two Grand Slam titles might be a better way to proceed.

American Coco Gauff comes in at +210 in the tennis betting odds to win one Grand Slam title. There is some value in backing Swiatek at +325 to win two Grand Slam titles in 2025.

It could be worth checking out the tennis odds for Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, and Daniil Medvedev as well.

Bet On The French Open

Taking a look at the outrights for the Grand Slam events is never a bad idea.

The risk of betting too early is that injuries can pop up. Also, you don’t get a feel for which players are peaking heading into the tournament. Playing well in warm-up tournaments doesn’t mean a player will turn that into a deep run at a Grand Slam. However, it doesn’t hurt.

Naturally, the big names are the ones to watch out for in the French Open odds.

On the men’s side, defending French Open men’s singles champion Carlos Alcaraz has even odds to make it back-to-back titles at Roland Garros. He is followed by Sinner (+250) and Novak Djokovic (+550).

Swiatek, the three-time defending French Open women’s singles champion, is the player to beat on the women’s side, followed by top-ranked Sabalenka.

Make sure to check out the sports betting promotions as the countdown to the Grand Slam tournaments continues.

Don’t Be Afraid To Look Ahead

If you see odds you like for the winners at Wimbledon, the US Open, or even the 2026 Australian Open, you can lock in your bet now with BetUS.

There is a huge difference between playing on the red clay at Roland Garros compared to the faster surfaces at the other three Grand Slam events.

It is pretty crowded at the top of the women’s Wimbledon odds, with Sabalenka (+330), Swiatek (+500), and Elena Rybakina (+500) leading the way.

Americans Coco Gauff (+900), Madison Keys (+2000), and Jessica Pegula (+2200) could also be popular picks in tennis.

Alcaraz (+150) and Sinner (+160) are running nearly neck-to-neck for the title of the Wimbledon betting favorite on the men’s side.

Sinner is the US Open favorite for the men, followed by Alcaraz and Djokovic. For the women, it is Sabalenka and Swiatek leading the way. Gauff and talented teen Mirra Andreeva could be popular picks when it comes to the odds to win the US Open.

Patience Could Be A Virtue

One issue with placing tennis futures bets early is that you won’t know about any potential challenges the title contenders may face.

Madison Keys is the No. 5-ranked player on the WTA tour, with Novak Djokovic holding that distinction on the men’s side. That could make for action-packed Grand Slam quarterfinals and semifinal matchups. That could factor into the US Open odds.

Checking the head-to-head results for previous tournaments is a key part of savvy bettors’ strategy as they look for the best betting options.

The odds will change as the tournaments get closer. That could result in better options by placing bets weeks before the first ball is struck at a Grand Slam tournament.

Tennis FAQs

Bets using tennis futures odds can be made at any time. The smaller events on the ATP and WTA tours won’t have odds available until just before the tournament starts. However, you can bet on the winner of the Grand Slam tournaments weeks or months in advance.

Taking the betting favorite to win matches is a safe way to proceed. However, there isn’t much reward for a top seed to win against a player outside the top 50 in the rankings.

If we use the WTA event in Madrid as an example, there are -780 odds for Jessica Pegula to beat Moyuka Uchijima. However, going with Elena Rybakina at -130 to beat Elina Svitolina could be a more rewarding option.

Betting on the winners of the men’s singles championship at the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open are popular futures bets. You can also bet on how many Grand Slam singles titles a player will win in a calendar year.
