NFL Draft 2023 Betting Odds & Lines

Overview

The NFL draft lends itself to plenty of previews. They are known as mock drafts and you can find them anywhere and everywhere. One of the sites that deliver in the category is BetUS, America’s Favorite Sportsbook.

There was plenty of excitement leading into the 2023 selection process, which runs from April 27-29 and takes place in Kansas City, home of the Super Bowl champion Chiefs.

The biggest news in the runup to the draft was made by the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears. The Panthers sent Chicago their ninth overall pick (first round) and second second-round pick (61st overall pick) in the 2023 draft as well as a 2024 first-round pick, a 2025 second-round pick, and 25-year-old wide receiver DJ Moore for the first overall pick.

So, what will the new Panthers coach and the team’s front office do with said pick? The speculation has centered on a quarterback, Alabama’s Bryce Young in particular.

The Panthers are in desperate need of a quarterback and Reich comes from the Indianapolis Colts, where he saw a merry-go-round of veterans fail in recent years as signal-callers.
The Houston Texans are also in the market for a quarterback although NFL draft rumors have floated the idea they could trade down to get the player they want.

The same can be said of the team with the third choice, the Arizona Cardinals. The NFC West team has been approached by numerous franchises about that third slot. Sitting behind Arizona is Indianapolis, another team that desperately needs a quarterback.

Of course, keep in touch with BetUS to follow all the wheeling and dealing as the draft approaches and takes place. Just because a team has a pick doesn’t mean it won’t move it to another franchise if the price is right.

One player to monitor closely is Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter. He was considered one of the top players in the 2023 draft class but off-the-field issues and a sloppy Pro Day workout have created a myriad of issues and questions.

The draft is one of the most exciting and followed events every year. Fans of each team want to see the players they choose and pass up in the three-day process. The future of many franchises takes shape through the NFL draft.

And keep your eyes on BetUS to see the props and options of wagering on the 2023 NFL draft.
