The tightest lines of the week are LSU at Ole Miss and North Carolina at Clemson, both at -3, and Florida at -2 against Auburn. Spreads, moneylines, and totals move through the week as injury news and betting volume come in, so the number listed here may not be the number available at kickoff.
How to Read College Football Odds
Every college football game on the board shows the same core information: a rotation number, a point spread, a moneyline, a total, and in many games a team total. Here is what each column means.
What is a point spread in college football?
A point spread is a handicap that requires the favorite to win by more than a set margin. A team listed at -7 must win by 8 or more points for a spread bet on them to pay. The underdog at +7 wins the bet by winning outright or by losing by 6 or fewer. If the favorite wins by exactly 7, the bet is a push and your stake is returned.
Most spreads carry a half-point, called the hook, which removes the push. A team at -7½ must win by 8; there is no tie outcome.
What is a moneyline bet?
A moneyline bet is a wager on which team wins the game outright, with no point spread involved. The price reflects how likely each team is to win. A -205 favorite requires a $205 stake to win $100. A +175 underdog returns $175 in profit on a $100 stake. Final margin does not matter, only the result.
What is an over/under total?
A total, also called the over/under, is a line on the combined points scored by both teams. If the total is 50½, an over bet wins when the two teams combine for 51 or more points and an under bet wins at 50 or fewer. Whole-number totals can push; half-point totals cannot.
What is a team total?
A team total is a line on one team’s points only, independent of the final result. If Miami’s team total is 38½, an over bet wins when Miami scores 39 or more, whether they win or lose the game. Team totals are useful when you have a read on one offense but not on the game as a whole.
What does PK mean in college football betting?
PK stands for pick’em, and it means the game has no point spread. Both teams are priced at or near even money and you are simply picking the winner, with the spread bet graded the same as a moneyline. A pick’em appears when oddsmakers see the two teams as evenly matched.
What does -110 mean and what does it pay?
-110 is standard pricing on spreads and totals. It means you risk $110 to win $100. A $100 bet at -110 returns $190.91 in total, which is $90.91 in profit plus your original stake. That price implies a 52.38% break-even win rate, so a bettor needs to win more than 52.38% of -110 wagers to show a profit over time.
What is the rotation number?
The rotation number is the three-digit identifier next to each team, used consistently across sportsbooks to reference a specific side in a specific game. It is a bookkeeping aid rather than a betting term, and it lets you confirm you are looking at the right game when comparing lines.
College Football Bet Types and How They Pay
Parlays
A parlay combines two or more selections into one wager. Every leg must win for the ticket to cash, and the payout multiplies with each leg added. Two spread bets at -110 pay roughly +264, turning a $100 stake into about $364 total. Three legs at -110 pay roughly +596, or about $696 back on $100. A single losing leg voids the entire ticket, which is why parlays carry a higher hold than straight bets.

Same game parlays
A same game parlay links multiple outcomes from one game, such as a side, a total and a player prop. Legs within a single game are correlated, so prices are adjusted to account for outcomes that tend to happen together.
Teasers

Player props
College football props are wagers on individual performances rather than game results: passing yards, rushing attempts, receptions, first touchdown scorer, and similar markets. Props are graded on the player’s statistics only and are unaffected by the final score.
Futures
Futures are season-long markets settled at the end of the year. Prices shorten as a contender wins and lengthen after a loss, so a future bought in September carries a different price than the same bet in November.
