Ohio State vs Indiana Odds and Lines

Ohio State travels to Bloomington to face Indiana in a major Big Ten matchup, with both programs looking to strengthen their position in the college football playoff odds race. The Buckeyes enter as betting favorites, but the undefeated Hoosiers have a significant opportunity to defend their home field and prove they can compete with one of the conference’s top programs.

Ohio State vs Indiana Match Details

  • Game: Saturday, October 17, 2026 — 12:00 PM ET
  • Venue: Memorial Stadium, Bloomington, Indiana
  • Storyline: Ohio State looks to avenge its 13-10 loss to Indiana in the 2025 Big Ten Championship Game, while the Hoosiers aim to maintain their undefeated start to the season.

Spread Analysis

Ohio State enters this matchup as the betting favorite, with BetUS listing the Buckeyes at -3.5 and Indiana at +3.5. The line reflects the challenge facing the Hoosiers against a highly regarded Ohio State program, even with Indiana enjoying home-field advantage.

For bettors following the spread, the key question is whether Ohio State can create enough separation to cover the number or whether Indiana can keep the game within a field goal. The Hoosiers’ recent success against the Buckeyes adds an important storyline, while the home crowd in Bloomington could help Indiana make this a competitive contest.

Total Betting Trends

The over/under is listed at 50.5 points at BetUS, setting up an interesting question about how much offense these Big Ten rivals can generate. The total suggests that scoring opportunities on both sides will be an important factor in determining the outcome.

Ohio State’s ability to produce points will be a key consideration, while Indiana will need to take advantage of its opportunities against a strong opponent. Their previous championship meeting finished with just 23 combined points, when Indiana won 13-10. Although that result provides historical context, it does not guarantee another low-scoring game.

For anyone following the over/under market, the main consideration is whether both offenses can generate enough scoring to surpass 50.5 points or whether defensive pressure and the importance of the matchup keep the total below that mark.
