Milwaukee Brewers at Los Angeles Dodgers Odds

A series starts in LA on Thursday that could easily be a preview of the National League postseason. The Milwaukee Brewers, leaders of the Central, face the Dodgers. The opener has Shane Drohan vs. Roki Sasaki. MLB odds have the Dodgers as favorites at -142. The Brewers are +128. The opening game is merely the prelude to a huge weekend.

The Brewers come into LA having been swept by the Padres in San Diego. The Cubs are closing the gap, so Milwaukee needs every win it can get. The Dodgers finished a series with Kansas City on Wednesday. The porous Royals gave LA a chance to find its winning groove again, and it did. Keep an eye on the injury status of Freddie Freeman, who left Wednesday’s win after falling into the dugout.
