NFL Week 17 Betting Odds and Lines

NFL Week 17 (2025) — Holiday Headliners & Betting Angles

Christmas Day:

Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs
Thu., Dec 25 — 8:15 p.m. ET (Prime Video)

  • Opening NFL odds make Kansas City a 4.5-point chalk (–4.5) with a –218 moneyline and a 44.5-point over/under.
  • Chiefs bettors who dislike the juice might pivot to an alternate spread (–6.5) at plus money or anchor KC’s moneyline in a multi-leg parlay.
  • Broncos backers can tease Denver up to +10.5 or sprinkle the +180 underdog price, hoping for a late back-door cover.
  • Expect a deep menu of player props on Patrick Mahomes passing TDs and Courtland Sutton anytime-TD markets, all fueling the Christmas-night betting handle.
  • A Kansas City win would all but lock up the AFC West futures market, while a Denver upset keeps the wild-card picture chaotic.

Christmas Day:

Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings
Thu., Dec 25 — 4:30 p.m. ET (Netflix)

  • Early NFL odds list Detroit as a 3-point favorite (–3) with a 49.5-point total.
  • Lions backers wary of the hook can buy a half-point to –2.5, or chase plus money on an alternate spread (–6.5).
  • Vikings believers might grab the +3 spread or fold rookie J.J. McCarthy’s moneyline into a same-game parlay with the over for a bigger payout.
  • Look for anytime-TD props on Amon-Ra St. Brown and Justin Jefferson, plus “ladder” totals for bettors predicting a holiday shoot-out.
  • The outcome will swing NFC North futures with only one week left on the board.

Sunday Night Football:

Chicago Bears @ San Francisco 49ers
Sun., Dec 28 — 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC/Peacock)

  • Consensus NFL odds open San Francisco –3.5 with Chicago a +3.5 underdog and an implied +135 moneyline.
  • Bears supporters can tease Caleb Williams up to +9.5, while 49ers bettors might lay the points or attack an alternate spread (–6.5) at a plus price.
  • Sack props on Nick Bosa and turnover specials on the rookie QB should see brisk action.
  • With both teams jockeying for a top-two seed, every snap affects NFC bye-week futures.

Sunday Late Window:

Philadelphia Eagles @ Buffalo Bills
Sun., Dec 28 — 4:25 p.m. ET (network TBA)

  • Hypothetical early NFL odds lean toward Buffalo as a modest 1.5-point chalk with a 50.5-point total.
  • Bills backers who fear Orchard Park weather can pivot to live-betting totals, hunting a middle if snow squalls drive the number down.
  • Eagles believers might tease Philly up to +7.5 or pair a Jalen Hurts rushing-TD prop with the moneyline in a two-leg parlay.
  • The inter-conference clash will ripple through Super Bowl futures, where both clubs sit on the first tier of contenders.
